Jeep Van Wormer Picks Off Fourteen Cars at Nearby Tri-City Motor Speedway

(PINCONNING, MICHIGAN) Jeep Van Wormer and his #55 team invaded the nearby Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Michigan on Friday night, August 9 to enter a weekly Super Late Model event. Jeep started his heat race from the inside of the fourth row and was able to move up one position to grab a sixth place prelim finish.

After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row in the $1,055 to win headliner, Jeep had his work cut out for him during the scheduled 30-lap contest. The Pinconning, Michigan ace was up to the challenge; however, as he blasted his way past fourteen competitors during the caution-plagued race, which was cut short due to time limit. Jeep wound up being paid for a solid fourth place performance at the nearby facility behind only victor Dona Marcoullier, Nate Murphy, and Derrick Hilliker.
